On Monday, June 15th, staff members of The Alliance for Metropolitan Stability delivered nearly 300 petitions from community members calling on the board of directors to voluntarily recognize the union, Collective Alliance Workers (CAW!).
Staff signed union cards and delivered them to the office of the National Labor Relations Board.
Later that day, the Alliance board of directors confirmed over email that they had voluntarily recognized the union.
